Become a Staff Member Are you looking for a summer job that you will remember the rest of your life? YMCA Camp Abe Lincoln has the job for you. We hire about 30 college age counselors each year to come work all summer long. You will receive a weekly stipened depending on your experience and with your food and lodging paid for through camp, all that money is yours to save. Counselors have been coming to camp to work for decades. Not only will you have an experience that you will remember forever, but you will also make friends that will be friends for the rest of your life. As a counselor, you become part of the Camp Abe Lincoln family. Some of our counselors return year after year.You will get the rewarding experience of working with kids on a daily basis. Being a role model to a child is the most extrodinary experience you wil have. Not only that, but you will also get the chance to ride horses, climb our 50 foot Alpine Tower, ride in canoes and kayaks and much more.
