Thunderbirds Day Camp     Ages 6-12

This is our most popular camp program. Thunderbirds will be able to get a small taste of just about everything camp has to offer. When they arrive in the morning they will be seperated into groups that they will spend the week with.  These groups will be specified to age.  After group breakouts, campers will attend a short chapel session where the counselors will lead the campers in songs and skits.

Following chapel, campers will participate in their first activity session which could be archery, horseback riding, canoes, arts and crafts, etc. Following the first activity, campers head to activity session number two for themed activities.  Each week as a specific session noted below and these activities will directly relate to those themes.

After activity session two, campers head to lunch.  Campers can either bring their own cold lunch or you can purchase hot lunch from camp.  Following lunch, campers head to the pool for swim time.  After swim time, campers head to their nature education activity. Activities like frog hunts, creek bed walks and tree searches are always popular.

Finally, campers will visit the camp trading post for snacks and memorabilia.  We recommend $25-$50 in trading post money.

Little Hawks Day Camp     Ages 4-6

This year we have created a new full week day camp program for our younger day campers. After talking with many parents, we realized that many of our campers are used to a little less intense schedule and are getting too worn out by the end of the day.  To make our campers more comfortable, we are starting the Little Hawks program.  This is a full week of day camp where campers will still get to participate in awesome camp activities, but during session two, they will be in a "Discover and Explore" session which will be not as physically strenuous.

Campers can expect to hear campfire stories, create arts and crafts projects and other activities that will give our Little Hawks time to re-energize.  Other than the "Discover and Explore" session, Little Hawks will have the same schedule as Thunderbirds.
